Close to dropping points against Nice on Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain finally snatched a 1–0 victory in stoppage time thanks to Gonçalo Ramos, who had just come off the bench.
In his post-match press conference, PSG manager Luis Enrique praised the Portuguese striker’s instant impact:
“He’s a very important player for us because he’s ready for every match, whether he starts or not. Five minutes of Gonçalo Ramos on the pitch means five minutes of hard work and quality.”
The Spanish coach also highlighted the construction of the decisive goal:
“He scored that goal after a very good cross from Kang-in Lee, a great anticipation from Kvara, and a superb finish from Gonçalo. It’s important for him, for the team.”
A lightning cameo and a decisive header, Ramos changed everything in a match Paris seemed unable to unlock.
