Rennes vs PSG: 7 Absentees for the Ligue 1 Clash

For their trip to Brittany, Paris Saint-Germain must deal with a reduced squad, especially in midfield. The coaching staff is forced to rethink its rotation options.

The Parisian club has confirmed the absence of Senny Mayulu, who picked up a left calf injury and has been rested for several days. His absence is significant as the young midfielder had been getting consistent minutes recently. The same situation applies to Fabián Ruiz, who is still undergoing treatment, and Quentin Ndjantou, who had surgery on his right hamstring and is currently recovering.

PSG and Rennes Hit by Multiple Player Absences

Despite these unavailable players, Paris’ objective remains unchanged: to maintain the leader’s momentum. Luis Enrique is expected to rely on his core group, with a tightened midfield and a fast attack to make the difference. The team’s attacking depth partly makes up for the shortages in the middle of the park.

Rennes will also be without four players: Frankowski, Jacquet, Ait Boudlal and Kamara are all ruled out. There is some good news, however, with Brice Samba returning to the squad.
