After ten seasons with PSG, Grace Geyoro has decided to turn the page. The iconic captain of the Parisian women’s team left for Chelsea, trading one capital for another after a turbulent summer marked by internal tensions at the club.
Things got complicated in the PSG women’s locker room — and Geyoro confirms it. Between coaching changes and off-field drama, the French midfielder, a long-time leader in the dressing room, chose to move on after a decade in red and blue.
In an interview with L’Équipe, Geyoro opened up about her decision: “There was a period when things were a bit complicated with the club, especially at the beginning of August. At the same time, other clubs approached me. Chelsea came in with a lot of determination.”
“I Left in Peace, No War”
Deeply moved by the outpouring of love from PSG fans, Geyoro admits she still has a strong bond with Paris: “I’ve always had a connection with the supporters. When you leave, you realize how much people were attached to you. I didn’t win every trophy, but the mark I left is even stronger.”
The midfielder concluded with emotion: “I left in peace, no war. PSG will always be my club at heart.” A heartfelt farewell from a player who spent ten years embodying passion, loyalty, and class in Paris.
