In the press conference, Luis Enrique expressed satisfaction with the mindset displayed by his team. “It’s a word I like: resilience. We showed the mentality needed to win this match,” explained the coach.
“We score, Lyon equalizes immediately. We regain the lead, they come back again. At 2-2, it was complicated; we couldn’t really control it. But the main thing is to win. When it’s tough, you have to keep taking points. We are at the top, and we are happy.”
With this success snatched at the end of suspense, Paris regains the top spot in the standings, two points ahead of OM.
