The fallout from Achraf Hakimi’s injury is far from over. After Luis Diaz’s brutal tackle, and his notable absence of any public apology, a new controversy ignited on social media.
Dayot Upamecano was caught on camera appearing to “mock” Hakimi by miming tears as the Moroccan defender left the pitch injured during PSG–Bayern (1–2).
The footage triggered immediate outrage, with many fans accusing the French center-back of ridiculing a player in pain.
Upamecano quickly addressed the situation on Instagram to put an end to the escalating debate: Don’t look for drama where there is none. “Sorry about your injury. Get well soon”, he wrote.

Meanwhile, the silence of Luis Diaz, who caused the injury and still hasn’t issued an apology, continues to fuel frustration among PSG supporters.
A stormy night on the pitch… and an even stormier one off it.
