“You cannot afford to have one, two or three players who don’t run,” he explained, highlighting the difference with the current PSG squad. The Portuguese midfielder pointed to the defensive work of today’s attackers, mentioning players such as Ousmane Dembélé and Gonçalo Ramos, who are able to press high and act as the team’s first defenders.
