Luis Enrique has a deep appreciation for Warren Zaïre Emery’s skills but is cautious not to interfere with France’s national team selection process.
The 17-year-old midfielder might potentially participate in the Euro with France next summer, but the decision rests with Didier Deschamps, not PSG.
“It’s Didier Deschamps’ job, not mine. But Warren is an astonishing player at just 17. He does everything well, in attack and defense. He’s aggressive, technically skilled, has good vision, scores goals, and provides assists,” said Enrique.
“He’s a perfect example for all the young talents aspiring to become footballers in PSG’s academy. I’m very pleased with his performance and level.”
