A PSG Player Headed to Lyon?

Olympique Lyonnais continue to scan the market to strengthen their defense this winter and are looking in particular toward Paris Saint-Germain. One defender is on their radar.

Lyon are considering recruiting in Paris. First, there was former Parisian prospect El-Chadaille Bitshiabu, now at Leipzig, but that track seems to have been abandoned. Now Lyon are thinking about another young Parisian talent: Noham Kamara.

A Loan That Could Benefit Both Clubs

At 18, the Parisian defender has been used very little this season, with just one appearance for the first team and several spells on the bench. A situation that has caught Lyon’s attention, as they look for immediate reinforcements as well as promising profiles for the future.

For their part, PSG are weighing up the best option for the development of their young player, with the aim of giving him regular game time, whether in Paris or elsewhere. Under contract until 2028, Kamara therefore finds himself at a pivotal moment in his young career, while Lyon are closely monitoring his progress with a medium- and long-term view.
