Luis Enrique sought to cool the atmosphere surrounding the winter transfer window. Despite a cascade of injuries, the Parisian coach refuses any rush: PSG will not recruit “just to recruit.”
Luis Enrique calms the excitement: no panic transfer window at PSG. Asked this Saturday about the possible arrival of reinforcements in January, the Spaniard was clear: “We are always open to the transfer window, but there is no urgency or concern.”
According to him, the club is managing the situation calmly: “We analyze the positive and the negative. There is no problem. Yes, there are injuries, but it’s like everywhere. We have confidence in the squad.”
A targeted transfer window, not a patch-up transfer window
The message is clear: even when depleted, Paris does not want to lose its group coherence. The club will only act in case of a truly relevant opportunity.
According to L’Équipe, PSG is still considering three potential arrivals this winter to compensate for the absences of Hakimi, Mendes, Doué, or Dembélé:
– a versatile defender,
– a defensive-minded midfielder,
– a winger.
Paris moves quietly
No craziness in sight. PSG is moving discreetly, focusing only on useful profiles validated by Luis Enrique. The winter transfer window will take place… but calmly.
