The Desire Doué situation is causing mixed signals around PSG. Some sources claim the club has already opened talks to extend the young midfielder’s contract, as part of the wider wave of renewals currently underway.
According to journalist Nicolò Schira, Doué’s camp is very open to extending, and any new deal would come with a salary upgrade. The player currently earns €500,000 per month — €6 million per year — with a contract running until 2029. PSG would reportedly like to add at least one more season.
But… other sources insist nothing is happening
Insider Djaameel paints a totally different picture: Doué is not a priority at all. PSG is said to be focusing on far more urgent cases — Barcola, Dembélé, Ruiz, Mayulu, Mbaye — all of whom are already in advanced contract talks. Doué’s file, for now, is quietly sitting at the bottom of the stack.
Two contradictory narratives — and a big question mark over Doué’s real place in PSG’s plans.
Is an extension coming soon? Is the club simply putting him on hold? Or is all of this just noise?
One thing is clear: for now, PSG seems to have much more pressing business than Desire Doué.
