The Gianluigi Donnarumma saga is heating up in Paris. Despite the 26-year-old Italian goalkeeper’s desire to extend his stay at Paris Saint-Germain, contract talks have stalled—mainly over salary.
According to Le Parisien (via Dominique Séverac), Donnarumma rejected PSG’s first renewal offer, deeming the financial terms too low. The club’s stance is firm: accept the current terms or prepare to leave.
Lucas Chevalier on Standby?
In case of a breakdown, PSG have already lined up potential replacements, with LOSC’s Lucas Chevalier reportedly a leading option.
For now, Donnarumma remains PSG’s No. 1 for the upcoming Club World Cup, but his future is far from certain. His agent, Enzo Raiola, tried to ease the tension: “We’ve had discussions with PSG and agreed to revisit the matter soon.”
But with the summer window approaching fast, time is running out.
