Despite ongoing rumors and mounting transfer speculation, Gianluigi Donnarumma is still a Paris Saint-Germain player. While talks continue behind the scenes — and PSG’s interest in Lille goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier is no secret — nothing has been finalized.
At 26, Donnarumma remains under contract until 2026, but his future is wide open. According to PSG Inside Actus and journalist Romain Collet-Gaudin, the situation is far from resolved. “It’s far from over for Gianluigi Donnarumma at PSG,” Collet-Gaudin posted on X.
Chevalier in, Donnarumma out?
Luis Enrique is reportedly pushing hard to bring Chevalier in, but Donnarumma has not yet left the club — and a contract extension is still on the table, even if negotiations have hit a wall due to salary disagreements.
For now, PSG is juggling both scenarios: preparing for life with Chevalier, but not ruling out a deal to keep Donnarumma.
