Gianluigi Donnarumma is in talks to extend his contract with PSG, but negotiations are currently at a standstill, as confirmed by his agent.
With his contract expiring in June 2026, Donnarumma is in negotiations for a renewal, but his agent, Enzo Raiola, has admitted that progress has been slow due to PSG’s financial constraints.
“We’ve been talking with the club since last summer about a new contract. It’s not an easy situation because PSG has adjusted its financial parameters due to Financial Fair Play. There are new rules at the club,” Raiola told L’Équipe.
“We’re Looking for a Solution”
While talks remain positive, no agreement has been reached yet.
“We are in discussions, and Gianluigi still has a year and a half left on his contract, so we have time. We’re looking for a solution.”
Donnarumma Wants to Stay in Paris
Raiola reaffirmed Donnarumma’s commitment to PSG, insisting that a contract renewal remains the priority.
“There is no breakdown in relations with the club. We are taking the time needed to do things properly, in the player’s best interest. But PSG is the only club Gianluigi wants to sign with. We’ll see how it ends, but the priority is to extend his stay in Paris.”
Will PSG and Donnarumma reach an agreement? The ball is in PSG’s court as negotiations continue.
