Paris Saint-Germain want to secure Désiré Doué’s future, but talks have not yet begun. No negotiations have currently taken place between the Parisian club and the French international’s representatives regarding a contract extension.
Désiré Doué will therefore remain on his current contract for the time being. However, the situation could soon develop, with PSG planning to open talks in the coming days to make progress on the player’s future.
PSG want to move forward with Doué
According to PSG insider Djaameel_ on X, Désiré Doué now holds an important place in the Parisian project. At this stage, there is no agreement or even any formal negotiation. Nevertheless, PSG appear determined to take the initiative and begin discussions with his representatives soon. The objective will be to reach an agreement that allows Paris to secure Doué’s future while rewarding his new status within the squad, as everything has changed for him over the past two years.
Désiré Doué currently earns an annual salary of around €6 million, or €500,000 per month, at Paris Saint-Germain. But he has become one of the stars of the squad, far removed from the promising youngster he was when he signed in the summer of 2024. He has also signed a major partnership deal with Nike reportedly worth several million euros per year.
The matter could therefore become one of the key issues at the Parc des Princes in the coming weeks. For now, there is no urgency, but initial discussions are expected to begin soon. With Désiré Doué under contract until June 2029, PSG are expected to step up their efforts by next summer.
