The saga is finally over. At 28, Grace Geyoro is leaving Paris Saint-Germain to join London City Lionesses in a historic move worth an estimated €1.65 million — a record fee confirmed by the club on Friday.
Still under contract with PSG until 2028, the French international midfielder has signed a four-year deal with the London side, owned by Michele Kang (also an investor in Lyon and OL Féminin). She will be reunited with Jocelyn Prêcheur, her former coach in Paris.
A historic deal for women’s football
Long targeted by Chelsea, Geyoro had always chosen loyalty to PSG, her childhood club. But recent difficulties in Paris convinced her to begin a new chapter abroad.
The end of an era at PSG
An exemplary captain and key figure for Les Bleues (28 years old, more than 80 caps), Geyoro leaves a huge void in PSG’s midfield. She joined the club back in 2012 at just 16 and has spent her entire career in Paris — until now.
