Jadon Sancho to PSG: Still Far Away
Paris Saint-Germain has expressed interest in Jadon Sancho, the Manchester United winger, for the upcoming summer transfer window. Sancho, 24, had a season with 14 appearances and 2 goals in the Bundesliga for the 2023-2024 season.
According to Sky Sports, PSG faces competition for the English international. Borussia Dortmund, where Sancho was on loan last season after a dispute with Erik Ten Hag, is also in the race. Juventus and an unidentified Premier League club are closely monitoring the situation as well.
PSG’s superior financial power could give them a significant edge in negotiations with Manchester United. Sancho is under contract with the Red Devils until June 2026, with an option for an additional year. Manchester United is reportedly open to selling him for around 50 million euros, though *The Mirror* suggests the fee might be slightly lower, around 47 million euros, a figure PSG is willing to meet.
Sancho Still Far from Paris
However, PSG Inside Actus reports that the deal is far from finalized, as Manchester United is reportedly asking for more than the figures quoted in the English press. “Paris has made a proposal to Manchester United. It all started with a list of sellable players sent by the English club in early June, which included Sancho. They began discussing it during talks for Ugarte. The English club is demanding more money. There is no guarantee that Paris will increase its offer,” according to PSG Inside Actus.
