Manchester City is Interested in Gianluigi Donnarumma: Will the PSG Goalkeeper Leave This Summer?

Gianluigi Donnarumma, the 24-year-old goalkeeper who joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2021 on a contract running until 2026, has attracted interest from Manchester City. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the Premier League club is considering a move for Donnarumma.

Donnarumma Happy at PSG, but…

“Manchester City has approached Gianluigi Donnarumma as an option in case Ederson moves to Saudi Arabia. Donnarumma is happy at PSG and has had preliminary discussions about extending his contract. However, he is known to be interested in playing in the Premier League at some point in his career,” says Ben Jacobs.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Al Ittihad is interested in Ederson, and City might sell him for 50 million euros.

Donnarumma Unlikely to Leave

Despite the interest, PSG insider Djamel reports on X that Donnarumma is not looking to leave. “For Donnarumma, it’s simple: he is happy in Paris, loves the city, and feels good at the club. From the club’s side, there is no plan to sell him this summer, so nothing to report.”
