It is a logical strategy for a club used to betting on young players with high potential. And why not a swap deal with extra money included? The two players are not valued at the same price, but such an operation would be possible.
On the Paris side, the Ibrahim Mbaye file remains sensitive. PSG must decide what role to give its young player in the sporting project, while competition is very strong in the attacking sector. It now remains to be seen whether RB Leipzig’s interest will turn into a concrete approach. For now, no negotiations are underway, but Ibrahim Mbaye’s name is clearly starting to circulate on the market.
