Paris Saint-Germain continue to reorganize their goalkeeping department. Just hours after confirming Renato Marin’s loan move to CD Nacional, the capital club announced the arrival of Alessandro Longoni.
A new goalkeeper at PSG! Alessandro Longoni, 18, has signed with PSG until June 2031. Trained at AC Milan, the Como-born keeper will wear the number 16 shirt in Paris.
Alessandro Longoni Replaces Renato Marin at PSG This Season
Longoni arrives with an already impressive résumé for his age. Having played through all of Milan’s youth categories, the 1.92m goalkeeper is regarded as one of the most promising keepers of his generation in Italy. Known for his qualities on the line, but also for his ability with the ball at his feet, he fits the modern profile Paris are looking for.
An Italian international since U15 level, Alessandro Longoni has also impressed with the youth national teams. Crowned U17 European champion with the Azzurrini in 2024, he also took part in Italy’s strong run at the U17 World Cup, where he notably stood out against Brazil in a penalty shootout.
His arrival comes as Renato Bellucci Marin temporarily leaves PSG. The 19-year-old goalkeeper has been loaned for one season to CD Nacional, a Portuguese top-flight club, with no option to buy. Paris therefore keep control of Marin while adding a new talent to their squad, as Longoni arrives from Milan to continue his development in the French capital.
