Emmanuel Mbemba is set to leave PSG. According to L’Équipe, the young Parisian player is very close to joining AS Monaco, who are expected to land a talent developed in the capital.
The situation is a real blow for Paris. Emmanuel Mbemba had refused to sign his first professional contract with PSG, despite the club’s desire to keep him. It was a strong decision that had already opened the door to a departure.
Emmanuel Mbemba Edges Closer to AS Monaco
Several clubs were interested. Arsenal, Bayer Leverkusen and Paris FC were also monitoring the player’s situation, proof that his profile appealed well beyond Ligue 1.
But Monaco now appear to have taken the lead. The club from the Principality are very close to completing the arrival of Emmanuel Mbemba. PSG, meanwhile, are preparing to lose another gem from their academy.
