Paris Saint-Germain have not closed the door on further transfer business. Despite an already very active summer in terms of both arrivals and departures, Luis Campos has confirmed that Paris are still keeping an eye on opportunities with only a few days remaining before the transfer window shuts.
PSG may still have a few surprises in store. Speaking to Ligue 1+ before the match against Rennes, sporting adviser Luis Campos was very clear: “The transfer window is not over at all. Even in terms of arrivals, if we find a good opportunity, we will do it.” His comments leave the door open to another signing before September 1.
PSG Have Already Reshaped Their Squad
Paris have already made major changes to their squad this summer. Maghnes Akliouche joined from Monaco for around €50 million, Ferran Torres arrived from FC Barcelona for close to €50 million, and Mika Godts was signed from Ajax. PSG also brought Lucas Digne back to France from Aston Villa for around €7 million and added young goalkeeper Alessandro Longoni on a free transfer from AC Milan. In total, the club have already invested more than €150 million in summer recruitment.

There have also been several major departures. Gonçalo Ramos joined AC Milan, Randal Kolo Muani returned to Juventus and Kang-in Lee signed for Atlético Madrid. Those three deals reportedly brought PSG around €155 million before bonuses, while several younger players have also left either permanently or on loan.
The main uncertainty now surrounds Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye, who were both left out of the squad against Rennes. Campos refused to rule anything out, saying: “You mentioned Barcola and Mbaye, we’ll see what happens.” A major attacking departure could push PSG to move quickly for another forward, meaning a sixth summer signing after Akliouche, Torres, Godts, Digne and Longoni remains a real possibility.
