Moise Kean could be set for a major return to the French capital. A comeback full of symbolism, but far removed from the scenario he had imagined just a few years ago. This time, it is not PSG showing interest, but their ambitious neighbor: Paris FC.
A return to Paris… but not the one he dreamed of. In search of a true number nine to boost their attack this winter, Paris FC are looking at Moise Kean. Unconvinced by Willem Geubbels and Jean-Philippe Krasso, the club is attempting a bold move by targeting the 25-year-old Italian international, currently under contract with Fiorentina. A high-profile name and a clear statement of ambition.
A Different Path Back to the Capital
The story carries a certain ironic twist. Kean has already experienced Paris in PSG colors, where he left an excellent impression during his loan spell—an experience that deeply marked him. Since then, the striker has never hidden his attachment to the city, even if fate could now bring him back through a completely different door.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the interest is real but the deal looks complex. Fiorentina, despite sporting difficulties, do not want to sell mid-season, and Kean himself favors continuity in Italy. The most credible scenario points to next summer, when his €62 million release clause can be activated between July 1 and July 15. In a 2024 interview with The Athletic, Kean recalled his PSG stint with emotion, saying he felt genuine support and love in Paris—proof that the city still holds a special place in his heart, even if a return would not be with PSG.
