Paris Saint-Germain is bracing for the possible departure of Gianluigi Donnarumma. While nothing is finalized yet, the club is already one step ahead: Lucas Chevalier has been identified as his successor.
According to L’Équipe, PSG is preparing an opening bid for the Lille goalkeeper, slightly under €40 million. But there’s a catch.
Lille stands firm on the price
LOSC is unwilling to negotiate below €40M. The northern club has made it clear: no deal until they’ve secured a replacement for Chevalier. According to RMC Sport, several options are already being considered by Lille to prepare for a potential exit.
On the other side, PSG remains firm with Donnarumma: either accept the new contract structure — lower fixed salary, higher bonuses — or move on. So far, the Italian’s camp has refused to budge.
A Turkish twist?
If no agreement is found, Donnarumma could head to Turkey, where interest is growing. For now, the clock is ticking — and PSG is getting ready to turn the page.
