PSG Set to Reward Strong Defender with Long-Term Extension

Arriving in the summer of 2024 from Eintracht Frankfurt, Willian Pacho has quickly earned PSG’s trust. Solid, consistent, and already a pillar in central defense, the 23-year-old Ecuadorian is now on the verge of being rewarded with a long-term contract extension.

According to L’Équipe, PSG has offered Pacho a new deal running until June 2031 — two additional years beyond his current contract, which ends in 2029. Luis Campos reportedly met with the player’s camp as early as September to lay the foundations of what has been described as a constructive negotiation.

A Salary Reflecting His New Status

Currently earning €2.5 million net in fixed salary, Pacho could receive a revised contract including both fixed and variable components, in line with the club’s wage structure. Inside PSG, there’s consensus: “It’s only fair that players who arrived on lower wages receive a salary that matches their performances.”

At just 24 and already considered a cornerstone of Paris’ defense, Pacho is expected to give his decision soon, with a positive outcome anticipated. PSG is determined to lock down one of its new leaders for the long term.
