PSG Unveils Two New Signings
Paris Saint-Germain has announced the signing of Frøya Dorsin, a 17-year-old Norwegian forward, who will join the club for the next three seasons.
Hailing from Trondheim, Norway, Dorsin started playing football at a young age, inspired by her father, a former Norwegian international. At 15, she faced a choice between representing her country in handball or football and ultimately chose the latter. She developed her skills in the U19 team of Rosenborg BK before making her debut with the first team in 2022. Since then, she has played 28 matches, scored 5 goals, and won the Norwegian Cup in 2023.
“Excited”
Dorsin has also excelled in youth national teams and currently plays for the Norwegian U20 team. “It’s a great honor for me to join Paris Saint-Germain. This is a new challenge and a significant step in my young career. I am excited to start this new adventure and wear the Red and Blue jersey,” she said.
PSG also confirmed the signing of Agueissa Diarra, an international forward from Mali, for two seasons. Diarra began her career in 2010 with the Super Lionnes of Hamdallaye in Mali before moving to CM Laâyoune FF in Morocco, where she scored 26 goals in her first season. She then played for Wydad Casablanca and SC Casablanca, finishing as the top scorer in the 2023-2024 championship with 29 goals. On the international stage, she participated in the Africa Cup of Nations with Mali and was named Mali’s Player of the Year in 2023.
“I am honored and proud to commit to Paris Saint-Germain. It is a great club, among the best in the world. I am eager to begin this new adventure with my teammates,” Diarra expressed.
