Paris Saint-Germain do not intend to shake up their squad this winter, but several files remain very much open behind the scenes. Staying true to its new strategic direction, the capital club continues to target young, versatile players with high potential, without giving in to the temptation of a major attacking signing.
According to PSG Inside Actus on X, PSG are indeed set to strengthen this winter. Despite rumors suggesting a quiet transfer window with no arrivals, that will not be the case, provided opportunities arise.
Targeted Reinforcements Without Offensive Signings
On the wings, Maghnes Akliouche remains a clear priority, as does Rodrigo Mora, who has been regularly mentioned in recent weeks. In midfield, Paris are keeping a close eye on Ayyoub Bouaddi, despite his recent contract extension with Lille. PSG are aware the deal would be costly, but have not ruled it out. In the same area, Manu Koné and Andrey Santos remain on the shortlist to add depth to an already competitive midfield, while the young Gilberto Mora is being monitored as a long-term prospect.
However, one decision has been firmly made: no striker is expected to arrive this winter. Luis Enrique believes his attacking options are already well equipped, and this area is clearly not a priority.
In central defense, the situation is more conditional. No arrival is planned unless there is a departure. Should a defender leave Paris, Lucas Beraldo would be the main candidate. Only in that scenario would PSG consider moving to recruit a new center-back. Overall, this points to a controlled and targeted winter window, with Paris mainly laying the groundwork for a potentially much busier summer.
