In a revealing interview with AlkassTV, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi praised Luis Enrique’s outstanding work—while expressing genuine concern about the coach’s all-consuming commitment to the club’s project.
The Spanish tactician didn’t just guide PSG to its first-ever Champions League title—he did so with an intensity rarely seen. “We’ve told him to get out, take a breather, and change his environment,” said Al-Khelaïfi.
“He loves football. It’s his life. From 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., he’s fully immersed. He’s a coach, yes—but this is also the result of his relentless effort, the players’, the staff’s, and our fans’. He’s doing a phenomenal job.”

Luis Enrique’s methods are intense and precise. At the PSG training ground, he uses a giant screen at pitchside to break down tactical sequences in real time with his players. “He shows the opponent’s movements during training—it’s a level of analysis I’ve never seen before,” Al-Khelaïfi added.

Since his arrival in 2023, Enrique has already lifted seven trophies, including a dominant Champions League final win (5–0) over Inter Milan. On the road to European glory, PSG swept past Liverpool, Aston Villa, Arsenal, and even Brest.
