Randal Kolo Muani (on loan from PSG) and Francisco Conceição (on loan from FC Porto) will officially take part in the Club World Cup with Juventus, despite their loan deals being set to expire on June 30.
The Italian club confirmed that both players will remain in the squad through the tournament, which runs from June 14 to July 13. That means Kolo Muani could come up against his parent club, PSG, later this summer.
A tough group stage for Juventus
The Bianconeri face a challenging path, with group matches against: Al-Ain (UAE), Wydad Casablanca (Morocco), Manchester City.
These matches will take place between June 18 and 26, and Juventus will aim to push through to the knockout stages.
Temporary extensions approved
Both Kolo Muani and Conceição have been granted special loan extensions to participate in the Club World Cup. If Juve advances to the semi-finals or final, they’ll stay on beyond June 30, with full agreement from their parent clubs.
Juventus will be counting on their attacking firepower to chase a historic first Club World Cup title.
