He praised his team’s movement and collective mindset: “Mobility is key — and today, we used it smartly. When substitutes come on and score, that’s a strong sign we’re growing as a team.”

Named man of the match by some, the Portuguese midfielder stayed humble: “We wanted them to chase the ball. It’s harder when you don’t have it. I love running, giving options. It’s part recovery, part genetics,” he joked.

As for the late penalty, Vitinha explained: “It was agreed with the staff — if we lead comfortably, we let an attacker who needs it take the shot. Kang-in wanted it, that’s normal.”
