“Today is my first day. I hope it will be a happy one,” he said.

Trained at Benfica and briefly with Paris Saint-Germain in the 1990s, Kenedy is now facing over €200,000 in debt, including €40,000 owed to the tax office. After a short-lived coaching career and a stint on Big Brother Famosos in 2022, he’s now trying to rebuild his life “with honor and dignity.”

“My dream is still football,” he admits, “but I have to move forward differently.”
