Vacation is already over — or almost. After a short summer break, Paris Saint-Germain is gearing up for a high-pressure, action-packed month of August. From medical tests and training to a European final and the Ligue 1 opener, PSG will dive straight into the deep end to kick off the 2025-2026 season.
The club’s calendar is packed:
– August 4: players report back to the PSG Campus for medical tests
– August 5: first full training session under Luis Enrique
– August 13, 21:00: UEFA Super Cup vs Tottenham in Udine
– August 17, 20:45: Ligue 1 Round 1 – Nantes vs PSG
A season with no room for error
PSG’s August continues at full throttle:
– August 22, 20:45: PSG vs Angers at the Parc des Princes (Ligue 1 Round 2), where the Champions League trophy will be presented to fans
– August 28: UEFA Champions League group stage draw
– August 30, 21:05: Ligue 1 Round 3 – Toulouse vs PSG
An international break will follow in early September, with much of PSG’s squad likely to be called up. For Paris, August is more than a warm-up — it’s the foundation of a season under scrutiny. After last year’s treble, expectations are sky-high. One slip, and the pressure will mount fast.
There’s no easing into the campaign — just full speed ahead.
