Lucas Chevalier is on the verge of joining Paris Saint-Germain, with an official announcement potentially coming by the end of the week. Talks between PSG and Lille have accelerated as the club prepares for a possible Gianluigi Donnarumma exit.
According to Le Parisien, Luis Enrique has given the green light for Chevalier’s arrival and has even spoken directly with the 23-year-old goalkeeper. Sporting advisor Luis Campos, who originally signed him to Lille, is leading the negotiations. Journalist Sacha Tavolieri reports a medical is scheduled this week.

Lille president Olivier Létang is reportedly asking for just over €40 million, but has opened the door to a deal and is already exploring replacements. Foot Mercato now claims a verbal agreement is in place between both clubs.

PSG hopes to finalize the deal before training resumes on August 6, and Chevalier could even feature in the UEFA Super Cup against Tottenham on August 13.
As for Donnarumma, the club’s stance is firm: extend your contract or leave. With Chevalier so close to signing, the writing may be on the wall.
