PSG vs Tottenham: Press Ratings, Miraculous Comeback

PSG x Nike: the new 2025–26 home kit is here!

In the UEFA Super Cup triumph over Tottenham (2-2, 4-3 pens), the French press confirmed what the pitch had already shown: a PSG still far from peak form but carried by a few standout performances.

Le Parisien praised Ousmane Dembélé (7), the key man in attack, while Bradley Barcola (5.5) and Willian Pacho (6.5) also earned credit. On the flip side, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (3) was deemed off the pace. Midfielders Désiré Doué (4.5), Vitinha (4.5), and Warren Zaïre-Emery (4) struggled to impress, as did Achraf Hakimi (4.5).

L’Équipe was harsher, giving Dembélé just a 6 and hitting Kvaratskhelia (2), Vitinha (3), Zaïre-Emery (3), and Hakimi (3) with low marks. Only debutant Lucas Chevalier (5) escaped heavy criticism thanks to a solid showing between the posts.
