Paris Saint-Germain already knows its next big date. As Champions League winners, the club is directly qualified for the 2025 Intercontinental Cup final, scheduled for December 17 in Doha, Qatar – home turf of its majority owner.
After hosting the 2024 edition, won by Real Madrid, Qatar will once again stage the tournament. This time, PSG will be waiting for its opponent: just one match to play, against the winner of a mini-tournament featuring Cruz Azul (Mexico), Pyramids FC (Egypt), Auckland City (New Zealand), Al Ahli (Saudi Arabia) and the future champion of the 2025 Copa Libertadores (final on November 29 in Lima).
Sixth trophy in sight
If victorious, PSG would claim its sixth trophy of the calendar year, adding to the Trophée des Champions, Coupe de France, Ligue 1, Champions League and UEFA Super Cup.
A golden chance to close out 2025 in style and further cement its status on the global stage.
