PSG vs Strasbourg: early hints on the lineup

PSG finally returns to Ligue 1 this Friday against Strasbourg (8:45 PM), after a long and exhausting international break. There will be some returns, but also quite a few absences.

PSG is sitting in its leader’s chair… but not comfortably. There is only a small point lead over OM. For the clash against Strasbourg at the Parc des Princes, Paris will regain some fresh legs. Désiré Doué, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and João Neves have recovered and trained normally. All three should be available, ready to strengthen a Parisian midfield that is still adjusting.

However, uncertainty still surrounds Ousmane Dembélé. Absent for several weeks, the 2025 Ballon d’Or winner is attempting a quick return. His participation will depend on the final physical tests conducted this week. The staff will not take any risks.

Stars on the bench

The same uncertainty applies to Bradley Barcola. Suffering from a muscle injury, the Parisian star could start with individual training before a possible return to team training. Nothing has been decided yet for Friday night.

Marquinhos, on the other hand, is confirmed to be out. The captain will miss the match against Strasbourg… and Leverkusen in the Champions League. Fabian Ruiz is expected to be present but likely on the bench, while Willian Pacho, just returned from Ecuador, may be rested. A verdict is expected on Thursday in the club’s medical update.

What lineup could PSG field? Here it is: Chevalier – Hakimi, Zabarnyi, Beraldo, Hernandez – Vitinha, Lee, Zaïre Emery – Mbaye or Doué, Mayulu or Ramos – Kvara
