On Tuesday night (9 PM, Canal+), PSG travels to Leverkusen for the third round of the Champions League, with optimism over recovering several key players.
The thrilling 3-3 draw against Strasbourg at the Parc des Princes left sporting concerns, but no new injuries. Physically, the squad emerged unscathed — a rare relief in a demanding stretch.
Marquinhos on Track for a Comeback?
Captain Marquinhos, sidelined with a quadriceps injury during the Classico, returned to full training on the eve of the Strasbourg match but was not included in the squad. According to L’Équipe, his return is now being seriously considered for the trip to Germany.
Luis Enrique will make the final call based on his fitness and that of other players returning from injury.
Doué, Barcola, Kvaratskhelia Already Back
Against Strasbourg, PSG welcomed several important returns:
- Désiré Doué (out since September 5)
- Bradley Barcola
- Senny Mayulu
- Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
Sunday’s training session was light for starters, more intense for substitutes — and crucially, no new setbacks were reported.
With no fresh injuries and key reinforcements potentially available, the question remains: Will Luis Enrique finally be able to field a near full-strength XI for this massive test against Bundesliga leaders and European unbeaten side Bayer Leverkusen?
