Paris Saint-Germain will be without João Neves for their Champions League clash against Bayer Leverkusen, but the absence is purely precautionary.
According to journalist Abdellah Boulma, the young Portuguese midfielder has not suffered a setback. The PSG staff simply decided to give him more time to recover fully. “No relapse for João Neves. The staff simply decided to give him a bit more recovery time to ensure a risk-free return,” Boulma explained on X.
The decision is part of PSG’s careful management of their players during a busy autumn schedule. Luis Enrique prefers to take no chances, especially with key matches coming up.
The good news: Marquinhos and Ousmane Dembélé are both back and available for this crucial European fixture.
