Paris Saint-Germain has no time to rest! Three days after their convincing victory against Brest (3-0), Luis Enrique’s men remain in Brittany to face Lorient. Here is the possible lineup.
And the news is quite good for the Spanish coach: Fabian Ruiz and Joao Neves are expected to return to the squad. Two significant reinforcements in midfield, essential for the rotation of a squad that has already been heavily relied upon for several weeks.
On the other hand, Achraf Hakimi will be unavailable. The Moroccan full-back, who has been heavily used lately, will be rested until next Thursday. “In agreement with the sporting management and the technical staff, Achraf Hakimi is being rested. He will resume collective training on Thursday,” PSG stated.
On the right flank, Luis Enrique might innovate: Warren Zaïre-Emery could step in as a wing-back, while young prospect David Boly (16 years old), already seen training with the first team, could earn his first minutes. PSG should also be cautious with Désiré Doué, who might once again start on the bench. Nuno Mendes could also be rested.
The probable PSG lineup against Lorient
Chevalier – Zaïre-Emery, Marquinhos (c), Beraldo, Hernandez – Lee or Ruiz, Vitinha, Doué or Neves – Dembélé, Mayulu, Kvara or Barcola
