Paris Saint-Germain does not rest: Three days after their victory in Brest (3-0), the capital club remains in Brittany to challenge Lorient, with a clear objective: to extend their lead at the top of the standings ahead of OM and Lens.
Good news for Luis Enrique: Fabian Ruiz and Joao Neves are expected to return to the squad for this trip. Two welcome reinforcements as the Parisian staff manages the efforts of a heavily utilized squad.
On the absence front, Achraf Hakimi will be rested until next Thursday. “In agreement with the sports management and the technical staff, Achraf Hakimi is being rested. He will resume collective training on Thursday,” PSG specifies.
On the right flank, Luis Enrique may innovate: Warren Zaïre-Emery could step in as a wing-back, or even make way for the 16-year-old talent David Boly, who has already participated in several training sessions with the pros.
