A slap for PSG vs Bayern, Marquinhos sank

After PSG’s defeat against Bayern, Marquinhos did not hide his frustration. The Parisian captain acknowledges Bayern’s superiority and believes his team must do much better, especially at home.

A mini-defeat or a major slap? This PSG/Bayern Munich match resembles the club’s worst European nights. Following the setback at the Parc des Princes, Marquinhos offered a clear assessment.

“It’s always hard to lose at home,” he admitted, lamenting PSG’s inability to impose their style against a Bayern team that was “well-organized, especially physically.” According to him, Paris never really managed to establish their game during the first half, hindered by the pace and impact of the Bavarians.

“We need to do better”

Despite everything, the Brazilian defender noted a few positive elements, highlighting his team’s ambition and mindset. But he acknowledges that it remains insufficient: “We need to do better, they were superior to us.”

In the second half, Paris showed a better face, particularly thanks to their numerical superiority, but they were unable to turn the match around.
