This is really a big shock. Paris Saint-Germain revealed its medical update on Wednesday, November 5, the day after the defeat against Bayern Munich. Several key players are affected, confirming a disaster that has been hitting the squad for weeks.

Achraf Hakimi, it is confirmed. The Moroccan full-back suffers from a severe sprain of the left ankle and will be out for several weeks. According to L’Équipe, he will not undergo surgery and still hopes to return in time for the Africa Cup of Nations (December 21 – January 18) held in Morocco. However, his presence remains very uncertain and will depend on the evolution of his injury.

Nuno Mendes is added to the list

Ousmane Dembélé: The French winger suffers from a lesion in his left calf. He will remain in treatment for several weeks.

Nuno Mendes is also injured now. The Portuguese full-back has a sprain of the left knee. Like Dembélé, he will remain in treatment for the coming weeks. Finally, unsurprisingly, Désiré Doué. The young attacking midfielder continues his rehabilitation, with no return date communicated.

A new medical update will be provided after the international break, as PSG must already cope with a significantly weakened squad.
