PSG player from 2019 to 2023 and now at Al Arabi, Pablo Sarabia has not forgotten his time in Paris. In a lengthy interview with FootMercato, the Spaniard emotionally recounted his years in Paris, marked by stars, strong moments… and an unforgettable memory of the Champions League.
He was not the favorite at the Parc des Princes, far from it. Pablo Sarabia did not establish himself sportingly at PSG, but the Spaniard still holds a wonderful memory of his time in Paris. “I was very happy there. I played with very important players in the world of football,” he shares, before praising “incredible supporters” and “very strong” years for him and his family. “When you are in a club like that, you will do everything for the club.”
His best moment? The last match before Covid
Among all the matches played in red and blue, Sarabia does not hesitate: his greatest memory remains the victory against Dortmund at the Parc just before the pandemic and the lockdown. “It was incredible. We played in an empty stadium, but everyone was waiting for us outside. We enjoyed it all together. I thank the supporters for making me experience that.”
Sarabia congratulated PSG for the Champions League
Having left before the European title last May, Pablo Sarabia did not hide his pleasure at seeing Paris finally lift the trophy. “I spoke with Luis Enrique, the staff, the people at the club… I wanted to show them that I was very happy for them.”
A sincere tribute from a player who, despite his departure, keeps Paris in a corner of his heart. Even if the supporters have already forgotten him.
