Lucas Chevalier found himself at the center of a media storm after he accidentally “liked” a post by Julien Aubert perceived as support for the Right Wing French Party RN. The PSG goalkeeper claims it was an involuntary gesture, discovered after waking from his pre-match nap. Caught off guard, he had to explain himself immediately to the management, who found his version credible and decided to support him to close the matter.
Shaken by the controversy, Chevalier says he sees his image “tarnished” for a simple accidental act, reminding that his values have nothing to do with the political ideas associated with him. However, the issue has taken on national proportions: several far-right figures have begun to defend him.
