Since August, PSG’s international players have been living in a stop-and-go rhythm between Paris and their national teams. Now, the club is heading straight into a real marathon until the winter break.
PSG has recovered its internationals — and miraculously, with no injuries! The players are likely fatigued, of course. But as usual, the same names remain unavailable: Dembélé, Doué, Hakimi, and Nuno Mendes. And the schedule won’t be doing them any favors: after Le Havre, Paris faces Tottenham in the Champions League, then Monaco, Rennes, Bilbao, and Metz before mid-December. All that before the Intercontinental Cup final on December 17 in Qatar.
The squad will then get a brief Christmas break before returning on January 4 against Paris FC, followed by the Trophée des Champions against OM on January 8. A packed end to the year, where PSG hopes to avoid yet another injury crisis.
