Luis Enrique’s Last Big Goal with PSG Before Leaving Revealed

Luis Enrique still has a significant goal with PSG: to win another Champions League. And he intends to achieve this as soon as this season.

Despite persistent rumors linking him to Liverpool, Luis Enrique does not feel that he has exhausted his time at PSG. The Spanish coach still sees himself at the heart of the Parisian project and does not consider his mission to be over, according to L’Equipe.

Retaining the Champions League is one of his stated objectives, and he firmly believes in it. For him, this PSG has not yet reached its ceiling: there is still potential to be tapped, players to develop, and a collective to push even higher.

“We will see in February-March”

However, Luis Enrique knows that it will be even more challenging this season. PSG is expected to perform. “Clearly, English teams are at a very high level. But this competition [the Champions League] is far from over. We will see in February-March which teams are currently struggling and can recover, or which teams, although performing well, will not be at the same level.”

“It is clear that there is a team like Arsenal, currently first in both competitions, which concedes almost no goals and is at a very high level, but the Champions League involves different situations and we will have to wait,” said Luis Enrique.

Luis Enrique will fulfill his contract with PSG until June 2027, despite advances from Liverpool and FC Barcelona.
