The draw for the Coupe de France Round of 64 has been revealed, and PSG landed a very manageable opponent.
A sigh of relief… or maybe not. It’s still a classic trap game, but on paper, a favourable draw. Luis Enrique’s team will travel to Vendée Fontenay, a National 3 side, for their competition debut on the weekend of December 20.
Among Ligue 1 clubs, only one alltopflight clash stands out: Auxerre will host Monaco. Marseille head to BourgenBresse (N1), while Lyon face Saint Cyr Collonges Mont d’Or (R1).

Overall, Ligue 1 sides escaped trouble: Lens travel to Feignies Aulnoye (N2), Lille visit SaintMaur (N2), Rennes head to Les Sables, and Nantes must avoid a slipup at Concarneau. Lorient, meanwhile, make a rare trip to Guadeloupe to take on AS Gosier.
For PSG, this draw offers a very favourable start, with one of the easiest opponents of the round.
