PSG are not only moving forward with Ousmane Dembélé. Behind the scenes, the Parisian board have also opened the Bradley Barcola file.
According to RMC Sport, a contract extension offer has been sent to the 23-year-old winger, who is under contract until 2028. For now, there has been radio silence: neither the player nor his entourage have replied. Talks had already been opened with his former agents before being put on hold, then restarted at the beginning of the season with his new agent, who also represents Dembélé.
A Decision That Will Shape the Next Transfer Window
Paris want to know quickly where they stand. Barcola’s position will weigh heavily on the club’s strategy for the next transfer window, and if the former Lyon player shows even the slightest desire to leave, PSG will have to anticipate.
For the moment, the player has never expressed a wish to leave the capital, despite very real interest from abroad, notably from Liverpool and Bayern Munich. Internally, Paris are preparing for all scenarios and have already drawn up a shortlist without taking action yet. The Barcola case is shaping up to be one of the major projects of the coming months, with a clear objective from the club: keep him.
