After PSG’s emphatic 5–0 victory over OM, Luis Enrique expressed great satisfaction in his interview with Ligue1+, highlighting the quality of Paris’ performance. “We expected a difficult match,” he explained, noting that the first half was tightly contested before his team pulled away. “We did many good things and we deserved the win.”
The Paris coach also emphasized the pleasure of playing a Classique in such an atmosphere. “It’s a real pleasure to play this kind of match, with the incredible atmosphere from the supporters.” He praised Ousmane Dembélé, who scored twice: “Ousmane is a different kind of player. That’s why he won the Ballon d’Or (…) It’s a real joy to watch a player of this level.”
No triumphalism despite the big score
Despite the scale of the result, Luis Enrique rejected any triumphalism and called for continued focus. “We stick to our idea,” he said, reminding everyone that competition in the league remains strong. He welcomed the return of “efficiency and level” in his squad’s display.
He ended with a humorous note about the post-match mood, making it clear there would be no excessive celebrations: “Nobody is partying — tomorrow it’s training!”
