Champions League: Who Will PSG Face in the Quarter-Finals?

Paris Saint-Germain continue their journey in the Champions League. After eliminating Chelsea, the French capital club has secured a place in the quarter-finals, scheduled for April 7-8 and 14-15, just after the international break.

PSG are through. While the schedule is now set, the identity of their next opponent remains uncertain. Placed in the top half of the bracket, PSG will face the winner of the clash between Liverpool and Galatasaray, set to take place this Wednesday evening at Anfield.

Uncertainty Surrounds PSG’s Next Opponent

In a favorable position after their 1-0 first-leg victory, Galatasaray will attempt to pull off an upset in England. However, if Liverpool qualify, it would set up a revenge showdown with PSG, one year after their round of 16 meeting, which the Parisians won on penalties.

PSG will play the second leg away from home. Regardless of the opponent, one thing is already confirmed: Paris will once again play the return leg on the road. Like against Chelsea, Luis Enrique’s men will need to secure qualification away from their home ground.
