According to reports from L’Équipe, the atmosphere is becoming increasingly tense within the Paris Saint-Germain academy despite the club’s excellent sporting results this season.

A situation that further weakens the Parisian academy, already shaken in recent months by several departures and major internal tensions.
PSG Academy Facing Internal Crisis
Still according to L’Équipe, relationships reportedly deteriorated sharply following the introduction of new methods implemented by Yohan Cabaye, the academy’s sporting director. The return of written reports, a greater use of data in recruitment, and several internal disagreements are said to have created a very heavy atmosphere within the department.
The PSG recruitment unit is now reportedly close to collapse. While there were six full-time scouts at the beginning of the season, only two are now fully working on the Paris project. Several employees are also said to fear information being passed on to management, further increasing mistrust between colleagues.
Yohan Cabaye nevertheless still has the support of the club’s leadership and continues to oversee future academy signings. Behind the scenes, however, concern is also growing among several youth coaches, who are still waiting for clarification regarding their future at the club. Finally, L’Équipe reports that several players from the 2008 generation are expected to leave PSG this summer, even though the club remains confident in its ability to continue producing young talents for the first team.
